1986–87 Football League Cup
The League Cup 1986/87 was the 27th edition of the existing since 1960 English League Cup.
The competition started on 25 August 1986 with the First Round and ended on 5 April 1987 with the final at Wembley. The title went to Arsenal, who beat Liverpool 2-1 in the final. The club from London won so after two final defeats (1968 and 1969 ) for the first time the English League Cup.
