1986 World Weightlifting Championships

The 60th World Weightlifting Championships of the men were held from November 8 to 15, 1986 in the Bulgarian capital Sofia instead. At the of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF ) in a duel ( tearing and piercing ) discharged competitions took part 193 weightlifters from 41 nations.
