1989 Masters (snooker)
The Benson & Hedges Masters 1989 was a snooker invitation tournament of the 1988/89 season, which was held in London from 21 to 29 January 1989 Wembley Conference Centre. It was the 15th edition of the Masters.
Stephen Hendry won the final 9:6 against John Parrott. It was the first tournament victory at the Masters for him. The second-round match between Terry Griffiths and Silvino Francisco was under suspicion of manipulation because it was exceptionally often bet on this outcome.
