1994–95 Bundesliga (women)

The Bundesliga 1994/95 was the fifth season of football league for women. Nine years after her first title win of FSV Frankfurt celebrated with a 2-0 victory over Green-White Brauweiler the second championship.

Course of the season

After four season wins in a row the TSV Siegen missed the finals for the first time. But could finish for the first time the first regular season Green-White Brauweiler. Surprisingly, second place went to FC Rumeln - Kaldenhausen that provided the leading scorer of the northern group with Maren Meinert. Victories remained only the ungrateful third place. With some distance followed Rheine, competed for the first time after the merger with SG Eintracht Rheine under the name FC Eintracht Rheine, Hanover, intermediate Potsdam and Wolfsburg. Tennis Borussia Berlin had a long fight to avoid relegation. Descent had promoted Wattenscheid and narrow field.

In the south of FSV Frankfurt kept a clean slate, winning all 18 games. With 92 shot and only four conceding goals was prepared from new record highs. Birgit Prinz and Sandra Smisek were involved with a total of 35 gates instrumental in the success.
