1998–99 Belgian Cup

The Belgian Football Cup 1998/99 was the 43rd playout of the competition. He began in early August with the first group matches and ended with the final on 30 May 1999 in Brussels.

Defending champions KRC Genk defeated in the semifinals to the eventual winner of the trophy, the Lierse SK. Lierse was so successful in his third finals for the second time; the first victory in this competition was back exactly 30 years. Final Game Standard Liege was in his twelfth -finals and lost for the seventh time. By the Cup to win Lierse qualified for the UEFA Cup in 1999/2000.
