1998 European Athletics Indoor Championships
The 25th IAAF European Indoor Championships took place from February 27 to March 1, 1998 at the Palacio Velódromo Luis Puig in Valencia instead.
During the competitions two world records were set: by Anschela Balachonowa in the pole vault and Ashia Hansen in the triple jump. Overall, the athletes achieved in Valencia 17 national records.
