2001–02 ISL season
The 2001/02 season was the sixth season of the Ice Hockey Super League, the highest British Hockey League. British Champion were the Sheffield Steelers who prevailed in the playoffs. Master of the regular season were the Belfast Giants.

Mode
In the regular season, each of the seven teams completed a total of 48 games. The winner was Master of the regular season. All seven teams qualified for the play-off second round in which each team played once against each opponent. The top four teams in the second round qualified for the play-off semi-finals. The playoff winner was British Champion. For a win, each team was given two points, one point for a draw and none for a defeat.
