2003 World Rowing Championships
The World Rowing Championships 2003 were held from 24 to 31 August 2003 on the Lake Idroscalo in Milan, Italy. According to the World Rowing Federation 405 boats with 1078 athletes from 65 countries were reported in 28 boat classes. In addition to determining the rowing world champion about 65 % of the starting places for the Olympic Rowing Regatta 2004 on the Regatta awarded in Athens (130 of 202 berths ).
