2006–07 FFHG Division 1 season

The season 2006/ 07 Division 1, the second highest French Hockey League was won by the Diables Noirs de Tours, which thus were promoted to the Ligue Magnus. The Corsaires de Dunkerque, Jokers de Cergy -Pontoise and Jets de Viry -Châtillon alighted at the Division 2.

Mode

In the main round, the 16 teams were divided into two groups. The top four teams from each main round group qualified for the final round, their First Place ascended directly into the Division 1. Second Place had to play in the relegation to second-bottom of the Ligue Magnus. The four last placed each main round group had to play in the relegation round. The three last placed the relegation round alighted at the Division 2, while the fourth- last of the relegation round had to compete for the league in the relegation. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
