2007–08 2. Bundesliga

The 2nd Bundesliga 2007/ 08 started on 10 August 2007 and ended on 18 May 2008. During this season than last year's relegation from the Bundesliga 1 FSV Mainz 05, Alemannia Aachen and Borussia Moenchengladbach are represented. Movers are the labor and SV TSG Hoffenheim from the Regionalliga Süd, and the FC St. Pauli and VfL Osnabrück from the Regionalliga Nord.

For the season 2007/ 08 changed their names two clubs: The SV labor was now called " Wehen " to draw attention to the new venue. And the TSG Hoffenheim played from this season under a different acronym of their name, namely " 1899 Hoffenheim ".

First promoted to the Bundesliga was Borussia Mönchengladbach, the 3-0 sat down opposite the Wehen on the 32nd matchday.
