2007 Faroe Islands Premier League
The Faroe Islands Football Championship 2007 was held in the Formuladeildin said first Faroese league and overall was the 65th season. It started on April 1, 2007 and ended on October 27, 2007.
Movers B71 Sandur returned after five years in the top flight back, AB Argir was the 23 participants of this after the introduction of the League operation in 1947. In the Formuladeildin each team to play 27 days played three times against each other. The NSÍ won its home game against VB / Sumba 3-1 and could thus win the title early in the simultaneous 2:4 defeat of second- B36 Tórshavn at EB / Streymur.
Relegation battle
VB / Sumba won the game on the opening day 1-0 AB Argir. The next nine games were all lost, from the fifth matchday of the last place was occupied. On the twelfth Gameday was achieved with a 1-0 win over KÍ Klaksvík the second and final win of the season. After a series of draws could be left briefly 18 games the last place, the distance to the eight runners was there but already ten points. From the 19th matchday of the last course was consistently occupied until the end of the season. After the direct duel against the eight runners- B71 Sandur was lost at home 2:3 with 23 game day, the team was established as the first relegated.
After two defeats and a draw at the start of the season AB Argir took on Matchday already a relegation place. This could be left again by a 2-0 win at Skala ÍF. After eight games without a win in a row followed until 13 Round with a 2-1 win against B36 Tórshavn, the next victory. On the 25th matchday of the climbers lost their home match against HB Tórshavn 1:2, so the league could not be realized.

Coach
Half of the teams alternated from coaches, HB Tórshavn and KÍ Klaksvík even several times. For Skala ÍF is this paid off most, they could be improved from tenth to sixth place. KÍ Klaksvík rose one position to seventh place, the rest of the coaching change had on the table position no effect.

National Cup
In the National Cup EB / Streymur won 4-3 against HB Tórshavn. Master NSÍ Runavík already retired in the second round with 1:2 after extra time from HB Tórshavn.
European Cup
2007/ 08 played HB Tórshavn as a champion of last year in qualifying for the Champions League against FH Hafnarfjordur ( Iceland ). The first leg was lost with 1:4, the second leg finished 0-0.
EB / Streymur played in the qualification for the UEFA Cup against Myllykosken Pallo -47 (Finland). The first leg was lost 0-1 in the return match was a 1-1 can be achieved.
B36 Tórshavn played as cup winners of the previous year also in the qualification for the UEFA Cup against Ekranas Panevezys (Lithuania ) and lost with 1:3 and 2:3.
KÍ Klaksvík took part in the UEFA Intertoto Cup. In the first leg in the first round against Hammarby IF ( Sweden) KÍ lost with 0:1, the second leg was at home with 1:2 also lost.
