2007 Paris–Nice
The 65th cycle race Paris-Nice was held to 18 March 2007 of 11. It was held in a prologue and seven stages over a distance of 1253.7 kilometers. At the race the Professional Continental team Agritubel and all ProTour teams were invited except Unibet.com, Astana, but only with a wildcard. Then the UCI threatened to cancel the race, after which the organizers ASO, the race de facto rauszog from the race series and of the World Association and it is now aligned as a free national race of the French Cycling Federation FFC. Shortly thereafter, the UCI ProTour and gave all Professional Continental teams grounding of Paris-Nice, then on national races, only third-class teams to take part. The Team T-Mobile, La Francaise des Jeux, Gerolsteiner, Bouygues Telecom, Cofidis and Rabobank still had their start in the race assured. It could still be found one week before the start of a compromise so that the race can take place without starting prohibitions. However, it remained even after a decision of the court is that Unibet.com may not participate in the race.
