2008–09 Primera Divisió
The Primera Divisió is the highest football league in Andorra. 2008/ 09 it was held for the 14th time. The competition launched on September 21, 2008 and ended on 7 May 2009, eight teams participated. A total of 391 goals were scored, which corresponded to an average of 4.89 goals per game. The highest victory won champion UE Sant Julia with 18-0 at home against UE Engordany. Runner-up FC Santa Coloma landed with 12:0 in the later relegated FC Rànger 's the biggest away victory.
The competition format
First, all teams played against each other two games, one at home and one away. So that every club had completed 14 games. Then played a relegation round a champion and: The first four teams in the regular season played by the same method as in the first round among themselves champions, in the same way the last four teams determined the losers and the relegation of participants, so each club yet six times played. The preliminary

The Masters Round
UE Sant Julia was able to keep the lead of two points from the preliminary round against FC Santa Coloma to the end and won the championship. The relegation round
Movers UE Santa Coloma, who had missed the Masters round by four points, winning all six games of the relegation round and had the more total points than the league's third and fourth in the Masters round. Besides the two games against UE Santa Coloma and UE Engordany won all games of the relegation round for themselves. In two Relegation games on May 17 and 24 played the Seventh Primera Divisió, the Inter Club d' Escaldes, against the second division Second Atlètic Club d' Escaldes.
