2008 Baltic League
The Baltic League 2008 was the fourth season of football competition for Baltic club teams and took place between March 4th 2008 and 25 October 2008. The winner was FBK Kaunas of Lithuania, in the finals were able to prevail 2-1 against Skonto Riga of Latvia,.

Mode
On the Baltic League, the top four teams in each of the Estonian Meistriliiga, Latvian and Lithuanian A Lyga Virsliga participated. The tournament was divided into a group stage and a knockout stage.
The twelve participating clubs were drawn into four groups. Three groups were composed of one first place winners, one second place and one fourth place of the leagues. In the fourth group, the three third-place teams in the respective leagues played. In the group stage, everyone plays against everyone in return game.
The four winners and four runners-up phase of this group made it to the quarter-finals. The quarter-finals and semi-finals the following were held in the Co- mode return game in Torgleichheit the away goals rule decided. The final final was in contrast to last year decided only in a game.
Participant
For the participants, there was little change over the previous year. For Latvia, it was with the FK Riga only a novice in the competition. Estonia submitted the same teams as the previous year and from Lithuania there was with Sūduva Marijampolė also just a completely new subscriber.
Prizes
All prizes are presented in euros.

- 1st and 2nd place: 3600 €
- Victory: 5.000 €
- 2nd place: 3,000 €
All transportation and accommodation costs of participants were borne by the Baltic League, the entire budget, including prize money amounted to 710,000 euros. Those teams from the top divisions of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, which are not able to qualify for the competition, received a payment of 2,875 euros each.

Quarterfinals
The first legs in the quarter-finals were held on June 3 and 4, the return matches on 2 July 2008.

The first legs in the semi-finals were held on 17 and 24 September, the return legs on 23 September and 8 October 2008.
