2007 Baltic League
The Baltic League 2007 was the third season of football competition for Baltic club teams and the first season after the new foundation. It took place between March 6, 2007 and November 3, 2007. The winner was the final purely Latvian Liepaja Metalurgs that could prevail with 3:1 and 5:1 against FK Ventspils.

Mode
On the Baltic League, the top four teams in each of the Estonian Meistriliiga, Latvian and Lithuanian A Lyga Virsliga participated. The tournament was divided into a group stage and a knockout stage.
The twelve participating clubs were drawn into four groups. Three groups were composed of one first place winners, one second place and one fourth place of the leagues. In the fourth group, the three third-place teams in the respective leagues played. In the group stage, everyone plays against everyone in return game.
The four winners and four runners-up phase of this group made it to the quarter-finals. The quarter-finals, semi-finals and final following the final were played in a knock - mode return game in Torgleichheit the away goals rule decided
Athletic History
The opening match completed on March 6, 2007, the team of FC Flora Tallinn and Vilnius Vėtra and on the same day the clubs of Ekranas Panevezys and FC TVMK Tallinn. First goal scorer in the competition was Giedrius Tomkevièius who met for Ekranas Panevezys to 1:0. Apart from JK Trans Narva who were in group A, left all Estonian clubs at an early stage from the tournament. However, reason was also that of Narva group rival FC Dinaburg was involved in match fixing, so these were excluded from the competition. The highest-scoring game of the group stage, there were on 22 May 2007 in group B, when FC TVMK Tallinn and Ekranas Panevezys parted 3-3 draw. The most significant victory of the group games celebrated Skonto Riga 4-0 against FC Flora Tallinn. After the quarter-finals were in the two semi-finals respectively a Lithuanian and a Latvian club over, the were able to enforce the clubs from Latvia. In the final, then Metalurgs Liepaja and Ventspils were compared. By a 3:1 and 5:1 metal to Petersburg sat by clear and secured the Baltic League Cup. All transportation and accommodation costs of participants were borne by the Baltic League, the entire budget, including prize money amounted to 710,000 euros. Those teams from the top divisions of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, which are not able to qualify for the competition, received a payment of 2,875 euros each.

Quarterfinals
The first legs in the quarter-finals were held on 12 and 13 June, the return matches on July 4, 2007.
