2007 Baltic League

The Baltic League 2007 was the third season of football competition for Baltic club teams and the first season after the new foundation. It took place between March 6, 2007 and November 3, 2007. The winner was the final purely Latvian Liepaja Metalurgs that could prevail with 3:1 and 5:1 against FK Ventspils.

Mode

On the Baltic League, the top four teams in each of the Estonian Meistriliiga, Latvian and Lithuanian A Lyga Virsliga participated. The tournament was divided into a group stage and a knockout stage.

The twelve participating clubs were drawn into four groups. Three groups were composed of one first place winners, one second place and one fourth place of the leagues. In the fourth group, the three third-place teams in the respective leagues played. In the group stage, everyone plays against everyone in return game.

Athletic History

The opening match completed on March 6, 2007, the team of FC Flora Tallinn and Vilnius Vėtra and on the same day the clubs of Ekranas Panevezys and FC TVMK Tallinn.
