2008 FIS Grand Prix Ski Jumping

The Ski Jumping Grand Prix 2008 ( official name: FIS Grand Prix Ski Jumping 2008) was a discharged from the International Ski Federation FIS between 26 July 2008 and October 4, 2008 race series in ski jumping. The discharged at eight different locations in Europe and Asia Grand Prix consisted of a team and individual competitions ten, nine of competitions in Europe and two in Asia took place. Of these, according to weather- related crash the next day someone had to be rescheduled. The victory in the overall standings was able to win the Austrian Gregor Schlierenzauer in front of the Swiss Simon Ammann and the German Michael Uhrmann. The Austrian defending champion Thomas Morgenstern finished in seventh place. The Nations Cup won for the eighth consecutive year, Austria, before the teams from Germany and Switzerland.
