2009 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters season
Season 2010>
The 2009 DTM season was the tenth season of DTM. My first run was on May 17, traditionally on the Hockenheimring - this race was also the 100th race since revival of the DTM in 2000 There were twelve manufacturers Audi and Mercedes-Benz with eight riders. . Overall winner was Timo Scheider, who successfully defended his title with it.
The season included in contrast to the 2008 season, a total of only ten races in Germany, Great Britain, France, Spain and the Netherlands. New to the calendar is the track Circuit de Dijon -Prenois, which was represented in the 1970s and 1980s already in the Formula 1 calendar. Dijon replaces the Le Mans Bugatti Circuit. The race in Mugello was removed from the calendar because of Termindiskrepanzen.
