2010 United States Census

The 23 United States Census was a census that took place in April 2010. It was conducted by the United States Census Bureau, an agency subordinate to the Ministry of Commerce. According to the U.S. Constitution, the census every 10 years to take place, the last one was the United States Census 2000.

Differences with previous Census

In the past, all households were asked to fill in addition, the long form the so-called short form and about every sixth household. Results

According to the census lived on April 1, 2010 in the United States 308,745,538 people, an increase of 9.7 percent ( or 27,323,632 ) compared to the United States Census 2000 means.
