2011 Faroe Islands Premier League

The Faroe Islands Football Championship 2011 was held in the Vodafonedeildin said first Faroese league and overall was the 69th season. She started 9 April 2011 with the play of EB / Streymur against Víkingur Gøta and ended on 22 October 2011.

National Cup

In the National Cup EB / Streymur won 3-0 against ÍF Fuglafjørður. Master B36 Tórshavn already retired in the first round 0-2 against the cup winners.

European Cup

2011/12 played HB Tórshavn as a champion of last year in the second qualifying round of the Champions League against Malmo FF ( Sweden). The first leg away 0-2 lost HB at home, handed it to a 1-1 draw.

EB / Streymur played as cup winners of the previous year in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League against FK Qarabağ Agdam (Azerbaijan). The first leg ended 1-1 in the Faroe Islands, the return match ended with 0-0 draw, and thus also different EB / Streymur on the away goals rule.

NSÍ Runavík played in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League against Fulham (England). The first leg was away lost 0-3, 0-0 in the second leg could be achieved.

ÍF Fuglafjørður also played in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League against KR Reykjavík ( Iceland ), the home game with 1:3 and the away game was lost with 1:5.
