2011 French Open – Men's Doubles
Mr Double the French Open 2011.
Defending champion Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic were that no longer competed together this year. But Nestor could win the title again with his new partner Max Mirny. This was their first joint Grand Slam titles, but they had both previously won the French Open already twice each with other partners. Biggest surprise of the tournament were Juan Sebastian Cabal and Eduardo Schwank, in their first joint tournament immediately reached the final as unseeded pairing and inter alia defeated the top-seeded Bryan brothers. For Cabal this tournament had been the Grand Slam debut, while Schwank had already reached in 2010 with other partners the semi-finals at Wimbledon and the U.S. Open.
