2011 Vuelta a España
The 66th Vuelta a España was held from September 11, 2011 of 20 August 2011. She was a total of 3330.1 km long.
The three-week Spanish cycling race consisted of 21 stages and was launched in Benidorm with a team time trial over 13.5 kilometers. There were a total of ten mountain stages, six mountain finishes, and nine flat stages. In addition, an individual time trial over 47.0 kilometers in Salamanca was fought. The race ended on September 11, 2011 in Madrid.

The race is part of the UCI World Tour 2011, at the participation of the 18 UCI ProTeam. There were four " wild cards " awarded to Professional Continental team.
