2012 Bet-at-home Cup Kitzbühel

The Bet-at -home Cup Kitzbühel 2012 was a tennis tournament which took place in Kitzbühel from 22 to 27 July 2012. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2012 and was discharged on clay court. In the same week the Farmers Classic were played in Los Angeles, which included just like the Bet-at -home Cup Kitzbühel to Category ATP World Tour 250.

Defender of the single was Robin Haase, who could defend the title in the final against top-seeded Philipp Kohlschreiber. In doubles Santiago González and Daniele Bracciali renounced participation. González instead took part in the Farmers Classic. A special feature in the doubles competition was the lottery of the wildcard on the side of Philipp Kohlschreiber: The organizers raffled among over 4,000 prospects this place in the Action game of your life; Winner was the Austrian Stefan Tumphart which is active as an amateur player in a division club league in Austria. Against all odds, won Kohlschreiber and Tumphart surprising her opening match against Lukas Rosol and Horacio Zeballos in three sets. The double win František Cermak and Julian Knowle against Dustin Brown and Paul Hanley.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 28 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. The four top-seeded player in singles each got a bye into the second round.
