2012 Japan Series

The Nippon Series 2012, according to sponsorship contracts officially Konami Nippon Series 2012 (Japaneseコナミ 日本 シリーズ2012, Konami Nippon shirīzu nisenjūni ), the 63rd edition of the annual championship final series in Japanese professional baseball. The best- of-seven series starts on 27 October 2012; the seventh game would take place on November 4. The home advantage in the first two games and, where appropriate, from the sixth game has 2012 representatives of the Central League.

Result of the regular season and playoffs

In the Central League champion Yomiuri Giants record were able to complete the first time since 2009, the regular season as the first place winner, the other two playoff places secured the Chunichi Dragons and the Yakult Swallows Tōkyō. In the Central League, the series runs over six full games: Chunichi decided the first three games in a row, but lost the following two games to the Giants.
