The Faroe Islands Football Cup 2014 is the 72th season of the highest Faroese Football League. The league is officially Effodeildin after the main sponsor, the energy company Effo. It starts on 15 March 2014 and ends on 26 October 2014.

Mode
In the Effodeildin each team plays at 27 matchdays three times each against each other. Due to the previous placement carry HB Tórshavn, ÍF Fuglafjørður, B36 Tórshavn, NSÍ Runavík and EB / Streymur from an additional home game. The point- best team in the end of season is master and takes part in the Champions League qualification, while the last two teams in the first Deild, the Faroese second division dismount.
