A Night at the Roxbury

A Night at the Roxbury is an American comedy film directed by John Fortenberry from the year 1998.

Action

The Los Angeles-based brothers Doug and Steve Butabi work at the flower shop her father Kamehl and live with their parents. They frequently visit nightclubs, where they try to conquer women. The neighboring business is conducted by Fred Sanderson, of a daughter, Emily, was of marriageable age. Kamehl hopes one of his sons would marry Emily and merge the businesses.

Roger Ebert wrote in the Chicago Sun - Times of 2 October 1998, the comedy is not only unfunny, but even pathetic ( " A Night at the Roxbury ' probably never had a shot at being funny anyway, but I do not think Planned it to be pathetic ").
