Aaron Rome

Aaron Rome ( born September 27, 1983 in Selkirk, Manitoba ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player of the stars of the National Hockey League has since July 2012 with the Dallas under contract. His brother Reagan is also a professional hockey player.

Career

The 1.85 m tall defender started his career with various teams in the Canadian Junior Football League WHL before being selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2002 as a 104 in the fourth round by the Los Angeles Kings. Towards the end of the 2006/07 season the defender was first appointed to the Executive of the now renamed Anaheim Ducks NHL franchises. On 15 November 2007 Aaron Rome was transferred along with Clay Wilson in exchange for Geoff Platt to the Columbus Blue Jackets, of which he was mostly used at the Syracuse Crunch in the AHL. On 1 July 2009 Rome, signed as a free agent contract with the Vancouver Canucks, with whom the defender in the 2010/11 season reached the finals series for the Stanley Cup.
