Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais

Schuraim Abdurrahman ibn Abdulaziz as- Sudais an- Nadschdi (Arabic عبد الرحمن السديس, DMG ʿ Abdu r- Rahman as- Sudais; * 1961 in Riyadh ) is the imam ( prayer leader / preacher ) and Koranrezitator the Holy Mosque in Mecca. He belongs to the Salafi direction of Islam.

Life

At the age of 12 he was Hafiz. He studied Islamic law ( sharia, fiqh ) in Riyadh and graduated in 1983, its financial statements for IFK. He expanded his degree with a further study at the Imam Muhammad ibn Saud University in Riyadh in 1987 where he graduated. Then he studied until 1995 at the Umm al - Qura University in Mecca and made here his doctorate degree in Islamic Studies. Since 1996 he is the Imam ( prayer leader / preacher ), the Holy Mosque in Mecca.

Career

He is also known for his frequent lectures invitation to the faithful that other Muslims in war-damaged regions to help, especially Palestine and Iraq. In 2005, Al- Sudais Holy Qur'an from the Dubai International Award was named ( DIHQA ) Organising Committee as 9th annual "Islamic Personality of the Year " in recognition of his devotion to the Quran and the Islam.Bei accepting his award in Dubai, said he: " the message of Islam and Muslims is modesty, fairness, security, stability, sympathy, harmony and kindness. "
