Aboncourt (Moselle)
Aboncourt ( German Endorf, Lorraine Aubonco ) is a commune with 392 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region.
Geography
The municipality is located in the valley of Aboncourt Canner, about 18 kilometers south-west of Thionville.
History
The place was first mentioned in 1147 as Epindorf and heard since 1661 to France. It lies on the French side of the former German - French language border.
The municipality also Aboncourt the south to the village Neudelange heard ( Nödlingen ).
