Style

The compositions Abruptums access guttural cries and produced for the (Black) Metal typical instruments (which will be sounded only partially in the traditional sense ), but its hardly stand in relation to music in the sense of tonal harmony, so that they as a kind of " anti- music " are referred to. The assignment as Black Metal is accordingly regarded as controversial. The statements of its founder ITs According to this, however, is entirely intentional: Euronymous had Abruptum as "The Audial Essence of Pure Black Evil" ( to German as: " The acoustic essence of pure black evil" ) refers to IT saw this information to be accurate and insisted that Abruptum was no band and no music playing.

Traversed by perceived as extremely disturbing sound stimuli, metallic - bizarre soundscapes and overdriven, seemingly inhuman screams that works Abruptums produce an extremely dark mood that you can assign to the Death Industrial.
