Adly Mansour

Adli Mahmud Mansur (Arabic عدلي محمود منصور, DMG ʿ Adli Mahmud Mansur, in the media, even under the English transliteration Adly Mansour, born December 23, 1945 in Cairo, Egypt, UK ) was on July 1, 2013, the President of the Supreme Constitutional Court of Egypt and since 3 July 2013 after the military coup and deposed the elected president Mohamed Morsi the interim president of the country. Life

After completing his law studies at the University of Cairo in 1967, he worked for the Egyptian State Council, the Administrative Court of the country. He was then appointed as a judge of the Supreme Constitutional Court. In 1977 he graduated from the École nationale d'administration in France.

After returning to Egypt, Mansur worked for many years under President Hosni Mubarak at the Egyptian State Council. He worked for many years in government- sponsored religious courts to administer justice according to Muslim standards. Among other things, he worked 1983-1990 as a legal consultant for Saudi Arabia.

In 1992 he was appointed Deputy Chairman of Mubarak's Supreme Constitutional Court, later.

After the deposition of Mubarak Adli Mansur was involved in the drafting of the electoral law for the Egyptian presidential election of 2012.
