Administrative divisions of Belgorod Oblast

The Belgorod Oblast Federal District Central Federal District of the Russian Federation was founded in 2007 from three urban districts and 19 Rajons ( counties ).

The following table shows the administrative divisions before the changes in 2007 ( with six " districts ", the Oblast directly subordinate cities and 21 Rajons ) and the population numbers from 1 January 2005. 2007, the cities Alexeyevka, Schebekino and Waluiki were the same Rajon assumed during the previous Rajons Gubkin Stary Oskol and were reunited with their same name, previously " circle-free " cities to urban districts.
