Agios Dimitrios

Agios Dimitrios (Greek Άγιος Δημήτριος ( m. sg. ), Saint Dimitrius ') is a southern suburb of Athens with about 65,000 inhabitants.
Since 2004, Agios Dimitrios terminus of the line is 2 ( "red") of the Athens Metro. An extension to Elliniko be commissioned in late 2009.
Location
Agios Dimitrios is located about 4 km south of the Acropolis and 3.5 km north of the coast. It is bordered on the west by Paleo Faliro, in the northwest of Nea Smyrni, on the north by Dafni Ymittos, in the northeast on Ilioupolis and on the south by Alimos.
