Ahmad Sa'd

Ahmad Sa'd (Hebrew אחמד סעד; Arabic أحمد سعد, Aḥmad Sa ʿ d DMG; born November 25, 1945, in Palestine, † 20 April 2010) was an Israeli-Arab journalist and politician.

Sa'd studied economics at the University of Leningrad, where he received his Ph.D.. He was director of the Tumas Institute for Social & Political Research in Haifa.

Sa'd 1996, was elected for Chadasch that a common list of Balad formed in these elections to the 14th Knesset and thus belonged to her dated 17 June 1996 to 7 June 1999. In the Knesset, he served as a member of the Finance Committee.

Sa'd has published several books on economics and on Arab-Israeli relations. As a journalist he worked among others for the newspaper Al -Ittihad.
