Akyazı is a city in Turkey. It is located in the province of Sakarya in the same district (Turkish Ilce ), about 25 km south-east of the city Adapazarı. Geographically located Akyazı on the border of Bolu. The city had in the year 2008 41.157 inhabitants ( 2000: 47,700 ). The population density in the district is 136 inhabitants / km ² one of the highest in the province. Some of these villages such as Sultanpinarı, Boztepe, Kuzuluk, Dokurcun and Altınoluk because of their mountains, rivers and their Islamabad kofte of tourist importance.
