Al-Mansur Nasir al-Din Muhammad

Al -Malik al - Mansur Nasir ad-Din Muhammad (Arabic المنصور ناصر الدين محمد بن العزيز, DMG al - Mansur Nasir al - Dīn Muḥammad al - ʿ b Azeez, . * 1189, † after 1216 ) was a Sultan of Egypt the dynasty of the Ayyubids. He was a son of Sultan al - Aziz Uthman and a grandson of the famous Saladin.

After the death of his father in 1198, the nine -year-old al - Mansur was succeeded by as Sultan of Egypt. Two years later he was succeeded by his great-uncle Al- Adil Abu Bakr I ( Saphadin ) deposed and brought to Aleppo. There, al - Mansur lived at the court of the Emir az- Zahir Ghazi, who appointed him in 1216 to his potential heirs should die before his own sons. This did not happen, however.
