Alabama State Route 69

The Alabama State Route 69 (abbreviated AL 69 ) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Alabama, which runs in a north -south direction.

Course

From Jackson it first runs in a north -westerly direction through Coffeeville. From Linden leads the AL 69 in a northerly direction over Greensboro to Tuscaloosa. There she meets Interstates 20, 59 and 359 as well as on the U.S. Highways 11, 44 and 82 from the Lake Tuscaloosa, the Alabama State Route 69 runs to the northeast. History

The first section of the Alabama State Route 69 was built in 1940. He joined the cities have Cullman and Tuscaloosa. In 1957, State Route of Cullman has been extended to Guntersville and replaced so that the Alabama State Route 112 also in the south, it was extended by two sections on Linden to Nanafalia, whereby the Alabama State Routes 13 and 79 were detached.
