Albert Dejonghe

Albert " Brown has " Dejonghe ( born February 14, 1894 in Middelkerke, † February 23, 1981 ) was a Belgian racing cyclist.

Albert Dejonghe was professional racing drivers of 1914 until 1927. His greatest achievement was the victory at Paris- Roubaix in 1922. 1920 he was third in the Paris- Tours 1920 second and 1923 third in the Tour of Flanders.

Dejonghe started nine times in the Tour de France; In 1923 he won a stage. At the Tour de France 1925, he finished fifth in the overall standings, the 1926 sixth.

To remind him of the " Grote Prijs De Jonghe Brown has " takes place in his hometown since the early 1980s. In April 2009, a plaque was unveiled for him.
