Albin Dahl

Albin Dahl ( born January 2, 1900 in Landskrona, † February 15, 1980 in Helsingborg) was a Swedish football player and coach.

Career

Playing career

Dahl played 1915-1921 for Landskrona BoIS. In 1922 he moved to Helsingborgs IF. He was three times Swedish champion. In 1933 he went to Växjö BK, where he ended his career after half a year. In total he played between 1924 and the formation of the League, 162 and 1933 times in Allsvenskan, scoring 107 goals.

Between 1919 and 1931 he played 29 times for the Swedish national team. Here, get him 21 goals. In the 1924 Olympics he won the bronze medal with the national selection.

Coaching career

Immediately after the end of his Erstligalaufbahn Dahl joined to the dugout. First, he was still playing coach at Eslövs AIF before he was from 1935 worked at Helsingør IF in Denmark. In January 1938, he went to his old club Helsingborgs IF, which he supervised until end of season 1944.

In 1945, he hired at Råå IF. In 1948, he won with the team by a clear 6-0 final win against BK Kenty the Svenska Cupen. 1950 reached the summit in the Allsvenskan. However, he left in January 1951 the club to return to Helsingborgs IF. By December 1953, he worked for the club before moving to his first club as a player, Landskrona BoIS. By the end of the season in 1956, he oversaw the club. Then he went back to Råå IF, which now again played in Division 2.
