Aleksandar Sarić

Aleksandar Sarić ( born January 27, 1974 in Belgrade, SFR Yugoslavia ) is a retired Serbian football goalkeeper who played for FK Čukarički Stankom.

Career

During his fourteen years professional career Sarić played for clubs in six different countries: In Serbia, Germany, Portugal, Israel, Romania and Austria. Slovakia was the seventh country after changing from Austria Carinthia to DAC Dunajská Streda.

In the period from 1986 to 1995 he was a goalie in three different youth clubs. He then played for the Serbian club FK Obilić, then in Germany. FC Carl Zeiss Jena, Portugal União Madeira and the two club 's from Israel Hapoel Jerusalem and Maccabi Petah Tikva According to the assessments of the Israeli newspaper Ha'aretz Sarić was the best goalkeeper in the Israeli Liga Leumit during the 1999-2000 season.

In Romania Sarić played for FC Timişoara. Then he was back in Portugal, but this time he was with Varzim SC. In the 2006/2007 season he played for the Austrian club SC / ESV Parndorf and then switched to SK Austria Kärnten.
