Alemayehu Bezabeh

Alemayehu Bezabeh ( born January 1, 1986 in Addis Ababa ) is a Spanish long-distance runner of Ethiopian origin. He is 1.80 m tall, weighs 59 kg and starts for the club Atletico Bikila. His older brother Sisay Bezabeh was also active as a long-distance runner and has the Australian nationality.

Career

Shortly after obtaining Spanish citizenship, he started at the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 and finished in 5000 - meter race in eleventh position.
