Alexander Burmistrov

Alexander Burmistrov Olegovich (Russian Александр Олегович Бурмистров; born 21 October 1991 in Kazan, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who stands in July 2013 in Ak Bars Kazan in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Alexander Burmistrov began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior division of the Ak Bars Kazan, for the second team, he was from 2007 to 2009 in the Perwaja League, the third Russian league, active. In the 2008 /09 season of the Center for the first team of Kazan made ​​his debut in the newly formed Kontinental Hockey League in which he denied, however, just a game. The 2009/10 season spent the Russian junior national team at the Barrie Colts of the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League, for whom he in a total of 79 games 81 scorer points, including 30 goals scored. Then the links gunman was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2010 in the first round as a whole eighth player from the Atlanta Thrashers. After the Atlanta Thrashers transferred to the 2011/12 season to Winnipeg and the Winnipeg Jets had become, he played two seasons with the Jets, before returning to the 2013/14 season back in the KHL Ak Bars Kazan after.

Internationally

For Russia Burmistrov took part in the U18 World Youth Championship 2009, as well as the U20 World Youth Championship, 2010. In 2009 he was runner-up with the U18 national team.
