Alexander Müller (skeleton racer)

Alexander Müller is a former Austrian Skeleton pilot.

Alexander Müller has been active since 1988 in the World Cup. 1996 in Winterberg, Koenigssee he won his only World Cup race. In the 1989/90 season, he finished in fourth place in the overall World Cup, as well as 1992 /93. 1994/95 Müller was even third and 1996/ 97, he won the overall World Cup, 1998/99 he was again fifth.

Müller's biggest success in international championships was a bronze medal at the World Championships in 2000 in Igls. The third place he had to share with the U.S. americans Jim Shea. In Austria Müller won the 1999 and 2000 titles, he was third in the championship in 2001 and he was behind Martin Rettl 2002 runner-up.

After his playing career Muller became coach of the Austrian national squad.
