Alexander Salazar

Alexander Salazar ( born November 28, 1949 in San José, Costa Rica) is auxiliary bishop in Los Angeles.

Life

Alexander Salazar received on 16 June 1984 by the current Archbishop of Los Angeles, Cardinal Timothy Manning, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

September 7, 2004, Pope John Paul II appointed titular bishop of Nesqually and auxiliary bishop in Los Angeles. The archbishop of Los Angeles, Cardinal Roger Mahony, Michael, donated to him on 4 November of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in Chicago, Gustavo García- Siller, MSPs, and the Auxiliary Bishop of Los Angeles, Gabino Zavala.
