Alexei Ivanov (goaltender)

Alexei Sergeyevich Ivanov (Russian: Алексей Сергеевич Иванов; born 4 May 1988 in Omsk, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian professional ice hockey goaltender, who plays for Spartak Moscow HK in the Kontinental Hockey League since July 2013.

Career

Alexei Ivanov began his career in the third Russian league in the second team Avangard Omsk of the HK. In 2008 he moved to the Russian second division Yuzhny Ural Orsk, in which he completed three games in the league Wysschaja. Another stop was the Kazakh team Sary- Arka Karaganda HK, with whom he won the Kazakhstan championship. In addition, he was voted the best goalkeeper of the 2009/10 season. In 2010 he was the Kazakh KHL Barys Astana team committed for three seasons, but was released from this contract after two years in July 2012.

The 2012/13 season he spent at Yermak Angarsk in Wysschaja Hockey League and convinced there with excellent statistical values ​​, so that he received a contract with Spartak Moscow HK in July 2013.
