Alice Sara Ott

Alice Sara Ott ( born August 1, 1988 in Munich) is a German - Japanese pianist.

Life

Alice Sara Ott learned four years against the will of its original Japanese mother playing the piano. Even as a toddler, she has won numerous music competitions and prizes, including " Young Musicians " and the Most Promising Artist Award in Hamamatsu, Japan. As the youngest participant ever they could win the 1st prize with 15 years at the International Piano Competition in Italy Silvio Bengalli. She was taught by Karl -Heinz Kammerling at the Salzburg Mozarteum and has appeared in numerous national and international events and festivals including the Classix Festival Braunschweig, the Zurich Festival, the Leipzig Bach Festival and the Festival Mecklenburg -Vorpommern. She is a multiple master student and winner of the International Academy of Music for Soloists ( IMAS ).

The magazine Fono Forum, she chose to debut artists of 2007. Ott, since 2008 for Deutsche Grammophon as an exclusive artist under contract, took CDs with pieces by Franz Liszt and Frédéric Chopin. She has received numerous scholarships, including from the Degussa Foundation, the German Music Foundation and the Study Foundation of the German people. 2010 Alice Sara Ott was honored along with Olga Scheps the ECHO Klassik.

Her younger sister Mona Asuka Ott 's also a pianist.
