Almendra Dam

The Almendra Dam on the River Tormes is the highest dam in Spain. The dam is located on the border of the provinces of the province of Salamanca and Zamora province near Almendra.

The reservoir has a storage space of 2.649 billion cubic meters, in part, can be found but also the indication million in 2413 It was built to produce electricity and is operated by Iberdrola.
