Almuth "Alma" Schult ( born February 9, 1991 Dannenberg (Elbe ) ) is a German football goalkeeper. Since 2013, it stands at VfL Wolfsburg under contract.

Career

Almuth Schult grew up in Lomitz and began playing football at the age of five years in their home region, the Wendland, FC SG Gartow. In 2007, she moved to Hamburger SV. In 2008 she moved for personal reasons to Stendal and played from then on in the regional league Magdeburg FFC. There Schult could win a regular place and succeeded in 2009 with the club promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga Nord. In 2010 she took off her high school and was in January 2011 in addition to 258 amateur soccer players in Saxony- Anhalt, the only woman who was fitted with a contract. Almuth Schult was in the German squad for the Women's World Cup 2011. On 15 February 2012 she made ​​the 5-0 victory in the European Championship qualifier against Turkey, their first international match in the senior team due to the injury of trunk goalkeeper Nadine Angerer. She is the first DFB goalkeeper, which performed its first use in a competitive match.
