Jana Burmeister

Jana Burmeister ( born March 6, 1989 in Sonneberg, GDR ) is a German football player. The goalkeeper plays for first division club VfL Wolfsburg.

Burmeister began her career at SG 1951 Sonnenberg and then transferred to local rivals SG toy town Sonnenberg. About the SC 1903 Weimar they came in 2003 to the USV Jena. On 26 May 2011 she announced the FF USV Jena to leave and to sign a two year contract with VfL Wolfsburg. She signed on 1 June 2011, a two-year contract in Wolfsburg.

In 2006 she was elected at the U-20 World Cup countries as the best goalkeeper and finished with the U- 17 national team to third place in the Nordic Cup. A year later, she was with the U-19 National Team European Champion.
