Alpha Ceti

Menkar (Arabic منخر الحوت, DMG Manhar al - Hut, nostril of the whale ' ) is the name of the star α Ceti ( Alpha Ceti ). Menkar has an apparent magnitude of 2.56 mag. Menkar is about 220 light years distant red giant of spectral type M1.5IIIa. He has a mass of 3 M ☉ and a radius of 84 R ☉.
