Amanda Detmer
Amanda J. Detmer ( born September 27, 1971 in Chico, California) is an American actress.
Life
Amanda Detmer graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City. She starred in the film Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) opposite Kirsten Dunst and Ellen Barkin in the movie Boys, Girls & a Kiss (2000) alongside Claire Forlani, in the film The Majestic (2001) opposite Jim Carrey. In the film Kiss the Bride (2002) she played the lead role in the supporting roles played among others Burt Young and Alyssa Milano. She was also in some television series such as Days of Blood - The Beast of Dallas ( To Serve and Protect, 1999) MYOB (2000) and A.U.S.A. (2003 ) can be seen.
In 1998, she played in Minneapolis in the play Last Seen, which was later filmed. In 2001, she starred in the play Amadeus at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis.
